Dwarf Canary reed grass (Phalaris arundinacea) 'Dwarf Garters'

This variety is  non-aggressive striped brightly with white, tinged pink in early spring, spreads slowly. It is not grown for its seed heads, though soft white panicles are produced in midsummer. Beautiful in pots and around small ponds, as groundcover and in the border.
