Carex siderosticha 'Shiro-Nafaku' forms a spreading clump of broadly linear, grass-like leaves which are heavily variegated with bold white splashes and streaks of bright green. Small, pale brown flower-spikes open before the new leaves in early spring, but 'Shiro- Nafaku' really shines as a foliage plant used in long-lasting, low maintenance borders.
