Beatiful RHS award-winner Allium with thick strong stem, glossy green leaves til flowering and one of the biggest flower heads consisting of dozens of small star-shaped violet flowers forming a 25 cm wide globe-shaped cluster! Seed heads are ornamental, persisting for weeks after the flower has passed on. Good cut flower in fresh and dried arrangements.
Favorite of bees, butterflies and other pollinators.
