This delicate onion with narrow green leaves and a ball of star-like dark pink flowers formed on each stem, tending to bend downward. Beautiful in the garden, pots or naturalized in a meadow. Easy, dependable and very drought tolerant once established. Leaves are edible, used as chive. It remains ornamental in the garden well into summer. Good cut flower in fresh and dried arrangements.
