Verbena officinalis var. grandiflora ‘Bampton’ bears small purple-pink flowers held on spikes at the tops of tall, elegant stems. The foliage is a lovely purple-green, with an almost metallic sheen.
It is a magnet for pollinators like bees, moths and butterflies. Suitable as part of a mixed herbaceous border, or as a part of a sunny gravel garden.
